Gerard Fres Ltd (GFL)
Was created in 1997 in Dhaka, Bangladesh. We have decided to move from France to Bangladesh to closely and better control the production and supply chain. This implantation in Bangladesh was partially due to the fall of the textile industry in developed country , forcing us to quickly adapt to this transition. We have been on constant improvement and adaptation to changes over the years.
We have followed the modernization of the production in Bangladesh, helping and working together with our partner factories in each of these challenges. Gerard Fres Ltd (GFL) is now working with more than 12 customers worldwide between France, Germany, Belgium, Italia, Canada, Brazil, Australia, etc … and exporting around 6 millions pieces per year.
From this many years of collaboration in Bangladesh based on trust and respect, we could build long term relationship with our clients, sweater factories and yarn suppliers, being the foundation of any good business and a competitive advantage in this industry.
Mission
Our mission is to represent each of our client in Bangladesh and facilitate the supply chain from product design until end-consumer’s satisfaction while engaging compliance factories, ethical responsibilities and sustainable production. We are sharing the same goal as your success is our success.
Our team
is made of 60 employees organized in different departments (merchandiser, quality, design, sampling, commercial), being supervised by French top management, all expatriated in Bangladesh allowing them to be directly on the field to respond faster to any problems, and have full control over the operations.
